  1. Pick a small project

Use a project you can describe with a clear result, such as publishing a useful guide. Avoid putting your whole business into the first spreadsheet.

  2. Open the starter CSV

Download our project tracker. Open it in a spreadsheet app you already use, or follow the official LibreOffice download link in the resource library. Check system requirements before installing anything.

  3. Replace the examples

Add five real tasks. Give each an owner, a due date if one is known, a status and a next action. Leave unknown dates blank rather than inventing deadlines.

  4. Make completion observable

Replace “work on the guide” with “draft three steps and one example.” Use a status such as Not started, In progress, Blocked or Done. A blocker should have a next action.

  5. Save and review

Save the file in a location you control. Review it at your next work session, update what changed, and choose the next task. CSV stores a table; use your app’s native format if you add formatting or multiple sheets.
